Oxidative stress during reperfusion of ischemia is associated with a phenotypic change in circulating monocytes from CD14++CD16- to a proinflammatory CD14+CD16+ subpopulation resulting in altered immunity and development of organ failure. Upadacitinib, a selective oral Janus kinase inhibitor, and dupilumab, a monoclonal antibody, are both approved treatments for moderate-to-severe AD. Therapy-related myeloid neoplasms (t-MN) are an aggressive and heterogeneous group of myeloid disorders with no established guidelines for frontline treatment.
