UNLABELLED: Introduction. Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (NTOS) is a chronic lower trunk brachial plexus entrapment caused by a cervical rib or a fibrous band. True NTOS is rare and progresses usually slowly. Case report. A 12-year-old girl complained of numbness and weakness of the right upper limb immediately after an orthopedic surgical procedure for scoliosis. Neurological and neurophysiological features were both consistent with a neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome (NTOS).

AIM: This study examines patterns and predictors of site-specific recurrence to explore the causes of local recurrence of cervical cancer.
METHODS: Radical hysterectomy was performed in 121 patients (stage IB-IIB). Nerve-sparing was performed whenever possible. The first recurrence in local, regional, and distant areas was examined. We investigated the possibility of nerve involvement in local recurrence, focusing on paravaginal tissues containing the pelvic plexus. PURPOSE: To retrospectively determine the risks and benefits of contralateral C7 nerve root transfer in infants and children.
METHODS: In 12 infants and children with brachial plexus root avulsions from birth injury or other trauma, the common trunk of the contralateral C7 root was transferred to the trunk, division, cord, or nerve branch(es) on the affected side with 2 different types of interposition grafts. The treatment consisted of a free vascularized ulnar nerve graft in 63 patients with lesions of the supraclavicular brachial plexus.
