A 28-year-old woman with diabetes mellitus and alcoholic hepatitis presented a rare case of Buschke Lowenstein tumor, or giant condyloma of vulva. HPV DNA of this tumor was detected by in situ hybridization using tritium labeled HPV 6 b, 16 and 18 DNA. This tumor appeared to harbour HPV 6 b DNA, but other HPV DNAs were negative. The distribution of HPV 6 b DNA was detected in the nucleus of the squamous epithelium showing koilocytosis. Total vulvectomy and resection of the clitoris were done. The postoperative course was uneventful and there has been no recurrence of tumor so far.

Two prepubertal girls were treated with Dianabol cream by their family physicians during 6 and 8 months because of an anal exzema. In both of them, growth velocity and bone maturation were accelerated, and there was hypertrophy of the clitoris and deepening of the voice. In this report we present a case of the male-to-female sex reversal syndrome in a Dachshund bitch. The animal was subjected for examination due to the enlargement of clitoris and male-type behaviour. The cytogenetic analysis (Giemsa staining and FISH with sex chromosome specific probes) revealed a normal male chromosome complement (78,XY). It had several defects including brachygnathia superior, strabismus convergence, aortal cusp insufficiency and hypertrophy of clitoris.
