A 76-year-old man presented with many bullous lesions and erythema over his whole body in August 2014. Blood examination showed an elevation of the anti-BP180 antibody (658 U/mL) and a biopsied specimen of the skin lesions showed subepidermal bulla. IUD translocation to the sigmoid colon after uterine perforation is a rare but serious event. Removal of the IUD in such a situation has been recommended because of the risk of complication, such as fistula formation and colonic perforation. We present the case of a 43-year-old female with a copper T380A IUD embedded in the sigmoid colon, which was removed with minimally invasive techniques.

Primary aorto-colic fistula is rarely reported in the literature. Although infrequently encountered, it is an important complication since it is usually fatal unless detected. Primary aorto-colic fistula is a spontaneous rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm into the lumen of the adjacent colon loop. Here we report a case of primary aorto-colic fistula in a 54-year old male. The fistulated sigmoid colon was repaired by end-to-end anastomosis. Despite inotropic support, the patient died of sepsis and multiorgan failure on the first postoperative day.

INTRODUCTION: We report a case of recurrence of sigmoid colon cancer in the residual urethra after cysto-prostato-sigmoidectomy.
METHODS/RESULTS: The patient successfully underwent urethrectomy and is currently tumor-free. To our knowledge, this is the first case of recurrence of a non-urothelial malignant tumor in the residual urethra.
