Reproducibility of reading "N-Multistix" dipsticks by a semi-automated urinalysis instrument (Ames' "Clini-Tek") has been described for artifically prepared samples. Snakebite envenoming is a major health issue in many parts of the world, especially in rural areas. Vipera ammodytes is the commonest cause of snakebite in Greece.
