In the present study, the value of the vascularized periosteal graft in healing the long-bone defect filled with the allogenous bone graft was studied. BACKGROUND: Epidermal inclusion cysts very rarely occur in the midline in the area of the anterior fontanelle.
CASE DESCRIPTION: We report the second case of epidermal inclusion cysts in the midline in the area of the anterior fontanelle in world literature of a 7-month female infant who presented with a slow-growing soft mass located in the midline over the vertex of the head.
CONCLUSION: These lesions with clear contents can have all the features of encephalocele on clinical examination, and imaging will show the exact location, but histopathology will confirm the diagnosis.

Spontaneous subperiosteal hematoma of the orbit is uncommon and only five cases have been reported in literature. The aim is to report a new case of this exceptional complication of labour and delivery. A 28-year-old woman developed immediately after delivery exophthalmia, chemosis and diplopia. CT scan showed a subperiosteal hematoma of the orbit. Spontaneous evolution was good. For her second pregnancy, caesarean section was decided because of the risk of recurrence. Since no etiology is found, venous hyperpression occurring during labor could be the lone origin.

UNLABELLED: We report an unusual presentation of polyarteritis nodosa in a 2-y-old child. The child presented with a mass of the left leg adjacent to the calf, and the biopsy showed polyarteritis nodosa. Further investigations confirmed systemic features, and X-rays showed a periosteal reaction.
CONCLUSION: Childhood polyarteritis nodosa may present with a lower limb inflammatory mass.

Twelve patients with choanal atresia were operated on by a method which involves a subperiosteal resection of the hard palate including the posterior two-thirds of the mid-palatal suture. In 7 patients, admitted for reoperation, peroperative examinations revealed an osseous defect in the posterior part of the hard palate. The patient was a 70-year-old man with idiopathic orbital inflammation (IOI) that appeared on the severely affected side of preceding myasthenia gravis (MG).
