BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: There is a continuing reluctance among transplant surgeons to procure a right-kidney allograft laparoscopically. We describe our experience with right laparoscopic donor nephrectomy (RLDN) by three techniques.

Anatomic variations in branching pattern of axillary artery (AxA) are common and typically involve subscapular artery (SsA) and posterior circumflex humeral artery (PCHA). From 1996 through 2001, the authors performed 26 vulvo-perineal reconstructions after vulvar cancer resection. Myocutaneous flaps are used widely in the surgical treatment of advanced cancers, which in the past had been thought to be inoperable. OBJECTIVES: Dual kidney transplantation (DKT) of marginal kidneys could offer transplant candidates a very satisfactory kidney transplantation in terms of renal function. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to compare alterations in the middle cerebral artery (MCA) pulsatility index (PI) and mean velocity (V (mean)) after laser surgery for twin-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS).
STUDY DESIGN: MCA Doppler studies were conducted 1 day before and after laser surgery for TTTS. The pre- and postoperative mean (standard deviation) of the MCA PI and V (mean) z-scores of the recipient and donor fetuses were calculated and compared. Data were analyzed using paired testing and multivariable linear regression models.
