Transplantable prostate adenocarcinoma were treated with polyamine biosynthetic inhibitors. alpha-difluoromethylornithine (alpha-DFMO), an inhibitor of ornithine decarboxylase and by s-methylglyoxal-bisguanylhydrazone (MGBG), an inhibitor of s-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase.
