BACKGROUND: Adults with congenital heart disease constitute a relatively new and continuously growing patient population. In addition to medical problems, patients perceive specific psychosocial concerns that influence their lived experiences and quality of life.

The study explores the verbal interaction relationship between therapists and members, and the interaction model of this group. Six subjects were chosen by convenience sampling from the psychiatric OPD of a medical center in the Taichung area. Aspirin and ticlopidine are two commonly used drugs in the prevention of cerebral embolic ischemic events. No direct comparisons in a cross-over design of the effects of ticlopidine and aspirin on asymptomatic circulating cerebral microemboli are available. We investigated what it means to patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) to grow up with this disease. A qualitative study was conducted using semi-structured, in-depth interviews of 11 patients with JIA, aged 18-30 years. Interviews were tape recorded and transcribed verbatim. PURPOSE: To favour the active movements of the shoulder abductor/external rotator, elbow extensor and supinator muscles, through the partial inhibition of the uninvolved antagonistic muscles, in the Brachial Plexus birth Palsy (BPP).
METHODS: The type A Botulinum Neuro Toxin (BNT-Dysport, Ipsen) was injected in 50 outpatients (mean age: 4.7 +/- 3.4 years) with BPP according to the criteria: early and current neuro-rehabilitation (Reflex Locomotion-RL), age <14 years, no cognitive impairment. Overnight 12 hour tape recordings were made of arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2, pulse oximeter in the beat to beat mode) and abdominal wall breathing movement on 67 healthy, full term infants between the ages of 29 and 54 (median 39) days.
