In a patient with primary infertility, ovulation was induced by monitored stimulation with human menopausal gonadotrophins (HMG) because of polycystic ovarian disease. Infertility work-up had shown a unicornuate uterus with a cavitary communicating rudimentary horn. The husband showed a varicocele-related moderate oligo-asthenoteratozoospermia. Transabdominal chorionic villus sampling (CVS) was performed on a patient with a triplet pregnancy. The karyotypes were as follows: 46,XX; 46,XY; and 46,XY/47,XXY. Selective termination was done on the affected fetus successfully by intrathoracic potassium chloride (KCl) injection. Amniocentesis which was performed at the same time confirmed the CVS results, showing the same mosaic findings. Following the procedure, the pregnancy proceeded uneventfully and two normal newborns were delivered at term.

A triplet pregnancy is described in which there was a second trimester abortion of one fetus at 16 weeks' gestation. A cervical cerclage was placed, and tocolysis was used. The other two triplets were delivered 131 days later (at 35 weeks' gestation) by cesarean section. Both infants survived. This case is unique in the literature.
