AIM: The aim of this study was to evaluate the value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the diagnosis and management of suspicious unruptured interstitial pregnancy.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: Only patients with unruptured interstitial pregnancy evaluated by MRI and observed for at least a year after surgery were included. Initial evaluation was performed by measurement of serum β-human chorionic gonadotrophin level and ultrasonography. In suspicious cases, emergency MRI was performed to diagnose interstitial pregnancies with the exclusion of rudimentary horn pregnancy and angular pregnancy.

We report a case of a 35-year-old multigravida with a chief complaint of 8 days of mild pain in the lower abdomen with history of vaginal hysterectomy 2 years prior. Ultrasonography and MRI showed a gestational sac-like structure with a fetal pole in the pelvis. Urine pregnancy test was positive with increased beta-HCG levels. Diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy was made. Surgical exploration and subsequent histopathology confirmed the sonographic findings.

Cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy is becoming increasingly common at tertiary care hospitals around the world. It is a condition in which the embryo implants within the myometrium at the site of a previous cesarean hysterotomy, and it can occur in women with only one prior cesarean delivery. We present four cases of cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy diagnosed within a 6-month period between 2007 and 2008. Their initial presentations and management are discussed, followed by a review of the published literature summarizing both diagnostic and management recommendations.

PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATION: To evaluate the usefulness of chest CT for assessing pulmonary micrometastasis in hydatidiform moles.
METHOD: We retrospectively evaluated 48 cases diagnosed with hydatidiform moles. We collected and compared data between the pulmonary micrometastatic and non-metastatic groups based on several factors. The non-parametric, Mann-Whitney, Kaplan-Meier and log-rank tests were used.
