The natural history of inborn errors of protein metabolism and the long-term effects of prescribed semisynthetic therapeutic diets are largely unknown. In the ongoing search for the optimal biomaterial for tissue engineered vascular grafts (TEVGs), poly (glycerol sebacate) (PGS) has emerged as a new potential candidate.
