OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this retrospective study is to evaluate the feasibility of the risk assessment over the telephone in the outpatient management of low-risk febrile patients with neutropenia.

In order to assess the acute effects of the intraoperative administration of intraperitoneal (IP) carboplatin with and without intravenous (IV) doxorubicin in patients with gynecologic malignancies, 25 patients were treated at the conclusion of their surgical procedure.
