PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: Two chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies - Tisagenlecleucel (Kymriah™) and Axicabtagene ciloleucel (Yescarta™) - have been approved for commercial use. In order to inform forthcoming EBMT guidelines on the management of adults and children undergoing autologous CAR T-cell therapy, we undertook a survey of experienced clinicians.

Only 10% to 20% of patients with pancreatic cancer are considered candidates for curative resection at the time of diagnosis. We postulated that preoperative chemoradiation therapy might promote tumor regression, eradicate nodal metastases, and allow for definitive surgical resection in marginally resectable patients. BACKGROUND: Invasive fusariosis (IF) is a rare but often fatal mold infection in immunocompromised patients, particularly after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). Despite antifungal prophylaxis and treatment, mortality remains high.
