INTRODUCTION: Synovial sarcoma is a malignant soft tissue neoplasm which occurs most of the time in teenagers and young adults. Facial, and especially parotid gland localization, is very uncommon.

BACKGROUND: There are only very few reports of cervical toxoplasma lymphadenitis being diagnosed exclusively via fine-needle aspiration cytology (with serology).
CASE REPORT: We describe a case of toxoplasma lymphadenitis that was successfully diagnosed by fine-needle aspiration cytology. The case involved a male patient who was immunocompromised as a result of recurrent acute myelogenous leukaemia with cervical lymphadenopathy. We present a rare case of colorectal carcinoma in which hemiparesis was the initial symptom. A 75-year-old woman presented with incomplete left-sided hemiparesis. Brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)revealed a 13-mm mass in the right frontal lobe; the mass was resected via craniotomy. Pathological findings, which included the results of immunohistochemical analysis, indicated brain metastasis from colorectal cancer. Hydatid disease of the liver is a parasitic infection primarily caused by the larvae of Echinococcus granulosus. Hydatid cysts may remain clinically silent for many years and are often an incidental finding on ultrasonography performed for unrelated reasons. We report a case of spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy (SBMA), also known as Kennedy disease, with a 38 CAG-repeat expansion in exon-1 of the androgen receptor gene, presenting with a 2-year history of mild speech difficulty, dysphonia, and occasional choking. Possible aetiological agents include environmental factors and genetic defects such as trisomies (13, 18) and deletions (18p, 7q, 2p and 21q).
