The objective of this study was to document maternal and child health care workers' knowledge, attitudes and practices on service delivery before, during and after the 2014 EVD outbreak in rural Guinea. Our studies of LF in Papua New Guinea (PNG) have shown that it is possible to reduce the prevalence of Wb in humans and mosquitoes through mass drug administration (MDA; diethylcarbamazine with/without ivermectin).
