BACKGROUND: Acute kidney injury (AKI) remains common among infants with hypothermia-treated hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE). Little is known about long-term kidney outcomes following hypothermia treatment. OBJECTIVE: To investigate emotional dysregulation and psychiatric comorbidities associated with DEB-risk in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM).
METHODS: A total of 75 children with T1DM aged between 8 and 19 were evaluated by K-SADS-PL to assess psychiatric diagnosis. DEB-risk was evaluated via Diabetes Eating Problem Survey-Revised (DEPS-R).
