A series of imaging features of extranodal, multi-systemic involvements in Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) were investigated. The clinical data and imaging findings of 16 patients with pathologically proved NHL were retrospectively analyzed. The related literatures were reviewed. Of the 16 cases of NHL, skeletal involvement was found in 4, nasal cavity and nasal sinuses were involved in 4, too. Lesion in the thorax was seen in 3 patients, hepatic involvement occurred in one case, cerebral ventricle was affected in 3 cases, mesentery was involved in one case. The paper presents results of dynamic and equilibrium surface tension measurements (using a maximum bubble pressure instrument) of serum and urine samples that were obtained from 80 healthy human of various sexes and ages. These data were compared with surface tension measurements of biological liquids obtained from patients suffering from malignant neoplasm of corpus uteri (n=5) and cervix uteri (n=31). Peripheral T cell neoplasms originating from gamma/delta T cells are rarely reported, despite the development of hepatosplenic lymphoma from gamma/delta T cells. We report a case of multiple generated gamma/delta T cell lymphomas presenting in the subcutaneous tissue and small intestine in a patient with accompanying capillary leak syndrome. The patient, a 43-year-old male presented with remarkable systemic edema, pleural effusion, and ascites. Widespread tumors were evident in the subcutaneous tissue and in the small intestine. A 91 kDa protein, sharing antigenicity with a pregnancy-associated antigen, was isolated from the ascitic fluid of a patient suffered from the gynaecological malignant neoplasms. A case of low-grade angiosarcoma arising in the skin of a breast previously irradiated for breast carcinoma is reported. Initially, an asymptomatic breast mass was detected. Numerous reports have demonstrated that blood transfusions given prior to renal allografting have an immunomodulating effect that leads to increased graft survival. To determine if blood transfusions would adversely affect the outcome for patients with breast cancer, we examined 226 patients with invasive breast cancer who had a mastectomy and found 65 (29%) had received transfusions. Small bowel tumors are unusual lesions exhibiting nonspecific clinical features often diagnosed at an advanced stage. In the cases studied at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania nearly all the 32 patients with malignancies were symptomatic whereas in the 34 patients with benign lesions the condition was discovered as an incidental finding in about half of the patients.
