Complications of internal iliac artery embolization were studied in 21 patients. The 9 male and 12 female patients were 12-70 years old (average 39). A study was done in 21 men to identify individuals with venous leakage as a cause of impotence. Combined pressure flow measurement and cinecavernosography were performed before and after the injection of papaverine into the corpora. Serum-prolactin concentrations were measured in 111 patients who had radiological abnormalities of the pituitary but no evidence of acromegaly, Cushing's syndrome, or Nelson's syndrome.
