In order to investigate the shape and size differences in feet caused by daily footwear, a comparative study was conducted on foot morphology in two populations. The data from six measurements in general physique and 18 measurements in the feet and their contours were obtained from 34 Filipino women in Isabela Province and 40 Japanese women in Tokyo. Nutritional status was assessed for 100 patients with serologically confirmed dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), 125 patients with other infectious diseases who were admitted to Children's Hospital (Bangkok), and 184 healthy children. To determine possible characteristics of infant victims of sudden death, we examined 114 items related to the pre- and postnatal histories of 42 pairs of twins one of whom died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) leaving a surviving sibling. Interviews with the parents were conducted after the occurrence of SIDS, and the data were checked with records held by gynecologists and pediatricians. The survival experience of 582 women with premenopausal breast cancer was examined to determine whether prognosis was related to body size or to demographic and reproductive factors. During the follow-up period 228 patients died and 18 emigrated or were lost to follow-up. Newborn rabbits were overfed by encouraging them to suckle from two lactating does. Rabbits fed in this way (double fed) were compared with … and double-fed rabbits at ages 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. The relation between oxygen consumption and body weight were similar. We conclude that rabbits respond to over-feeding with an increased rate of weight gain associated with extra fat deposition, and this is associated with increased energy efficiency.

The nutritional state of 168 patients in a medical clinic was determined with the following parameters: Weight/height index, triceps skin fold, arm muscle circumference, creatinine/height index, albumin, prealbumin, transferrin and cholinesterase. The study investigates EEG characteristics in relation to psychopathology. Tetrahydro-Cannabinol (THC) was taken orally by 12 volunteers. The EEG was recorded continuously, and THC-induced psychopathology was assessed by pre- and post-experiment questionnaires. Subjects had to signal THC experiences. EEG measurements (distribution means of frequency bands derived from EEG frequency analysis) before and after THC were correlated with THC induced psychopathology.
