At our institution, the majority of buccal mucosal graft urethroplasties are performed using a two-team approach with an otolaryngologic surgeon. We report our two-surgeon experience with buccal mucosal grafting for reconstruction of all anterior urethral strictures. Twenty-four men underwent autologous buccal mucosal graft urethroplasty between October 2001 and September 2008 for recurrent urethral stricture disease. We have used the pedicled buccal fat pad in a patient with a wide unilateral cleft palate when there was tension in the nasal layer even after complete release. The levator muscle was dissected and repositioned and the nasal layer was released transversely at the site of maximum tension between the hard and soft palate. The pedicled flap was placed into this defect. Pedicled buccal fat pad can be brought from the lateral releasing incision itself without adding another donor site. The postoperative course was uneventful.

An 11-day-old infant was referred for a large, fleshy swelling at the right medial canthus, which was noticed at birth. CT of the skull showed protrusion of brain tissue within the mass, from which a diagnosis of meningoencephalocele was made. More than thousand plastic operations were performed in our departments with ROMICRO-set during the last ten years. First we applied it for reconstructive and aesthetic augmentation of the breast. Thereafter, we developed new technique for gynecomastia and reconstruction of diastasis of the m. rectus abdominis sheath. According to our experience, the ROMICRO-set is a useful tool in plastic surgery. The ROMICRO-set can be used through a small incision to achieve three dimensional views with excellent exposure and lighting.

14 boys with balanic hypospadia (BH) and 23 boys with coronal hypospadia (CH) aged 9 months to 15 years were operated in 1997-2000. For 13 boys this operation was meatoglanuloplasty (MAGPI) by J.
