Preliminary results of a mixed technique of cervical bladder suspension by retroperitoneal laparoscopy and vaginal route. 35 patients, average age 55 years with stress incontinence. Every patients had positive Bonney test. Associated lesions were prolapse (72%). In this retrospective study, we give technique in details. Average operative time: 65 minutes. Average hospital stay: 5.4 days. Success rate: 89%. Retzius hematoma were treated by laparoscopy. Average lapse of time: 10.5 months. Interesting technique in associated prolapse.

BACKGROUND: The role of pre-operative white blood cell counts (WBCC) in patients with an acute abdomen is contentious.
METHODS: This study documents the association between pre-operative WBCC and the extent of intraperitoneal inflammation at the time of surgery in a heterogeneous group of 1166 patients undergoing abdominal surgery.

Laparoscopic resection of the adrenal tumor was carried out in 8 patients since January 1993. The age of the patients was 22 to 45 years, 6 with aldosteronism and 2 with Cushing's syndrome. The tumors were located in righ adrenal in 5 cases and left adrenal in 3. The tumor size was 1.0-3.6 cm. All laparoscopic procedures were performed under general edothacheal anesthesia. We reviewed the records of 66 consecutive patients with previously untreated supraglottic laryngeal carcinoma who underwent a supraglottic laryngectomy in our department between 1970 and 1989. There were 23 T1, 30 T2 and 13 T3 cases. Eight patients had neck metastases and underwent neck dissection also. Twenty-four (36 per cent) patients received post-operative radiotherapy.
