Inherited antithrombin deficiency (ATD) is associated with a high risk of venous thromboembolic complications. Association of ATD with other conditions such as pregnancy obviously increases thromboembolic risk and may require anticoagulant therapy for prevention. Tracheobronchial injurie( TBI) is rare but potentially life threatening. Blunt trauma of the chest and post-intubation injury are the most common cause of TBI. Clinical findings of TBI are subcutaneous emphysema, pneumomediastinum, and pneumothorax. Chest computed tomography (CT) and bronchoscopy are important examination for TBI to evaluate of injured site and condition. We here describe our experience with percutaneous dilation of mitral stenosis in patients with severe pulmonary hypertension during pregnancy.
