We present a case demonstrating the novel use of the da Vinci SP (single-port) robotic platform (Intuitive Surgical) in cardiac surgery. A 69-year-old man with ischemic cardiomyopathy and failed endovascular cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator lead placement underwent successful robotically assisted left ventricular epicardial lead implantation through a 4-cm minithoracotomy. Anastomosis of the proximal left mainstem bronchus is challenging. A 70-year-old female patient was referred to our hospital for surgical intervention for a tumor in the left main bronchus. Certain caregiver eating messages - restriction of food intake and pressures to eat - are associated with body dissatisfaction and eating disturbances among young girls. Despite its high worldwide prevalence and the intuitable negative prognostic connotation, for a long time peripheral artery disease (PAD) has not been the subject of particular interest by the cardiac scientific community. The availability of a new therapeutic strategy (low-dose rivaroxaban associated with acetylsalicylic acid) has reignited interest in PAD. The clear evidence derived from the COMPASS and VOYAGER PAD trials, with the possibility of using dual pathway inhibition, has given new energy to the therapeutic front against symptomatic PAD also associated with coronary artery disease.

A porous molecular crystal (TSCl) was found to crystallise from dichloromethane and water during the synthesis of tetrakis(4-sulfophenylmethane). Crystal structure prediction (CSP) rationalises the driving force behind the formation of this porous TSCl phase and the intermolecular interactions that direct its formation.
