D-Trp6-LHRH was tested in 6 girls 1-8 years old and 7 boys 2-10 years old with precocious puberty. All children had advanced bone age, breast or testis enlargement and a pubertal LH response to LHRH. 60 micrograms LHRH-A/kg body weight was given intramuscularly on days 1 and 21 and thereafter every 4 weeks for 6-21 months. Perfluoroheptanoic acid (PFHpA) is a short-chain alternative to long-chain perfluoroalkyl substances, which have been reported to possess reproductive toxicity.
