A 63-year-old man with epigastralgia was referred to our hospital and diagnosed with simultaneous multiple gastric cancers. One lesion was type 2 advanced and the other was type 0- II c early gastric cancer. CT examination revealed 4 regional lymph node metastases. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC)with docetaxel/CDDP/S-1was administered. After 2 courses of NAC, total gastrectomy with D2(-No. 10), lymphadenectomy was performed. BACKGROUND: Metastatic penoscrotal extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD) has seldom been reported in the literature.
OBJECTIVES: To improve the knowledge of the clinicopathological characteristics, management and outcome in patients with this disease.
METHODS: The medical records and pathological slides of 10 patients with metastatic EMPD and 33 patients with nonmetastatic disease were reviewed. A 64-year-old man underwent a probe laparotomy for unresectable gastric remnant cancer (GRC) involving the pancreas and retroperitoneum. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the role and side effects of docetaxel and prednisone on treating hormone-refractory prostate cancer (HRPC).
METHODS: Docetaxel (75 mg/m(2)) and prednisone (5 mg, bid) were given to 14 patients, whose age range from 51 to 78 years old, of hormone-refractory prostate cancer for 3 - 8 cycles.
