A rare case of mucinous nodules on the skin overlying rheumatoid synovitis in a 79-year-old man is described. The patient had a five year history of RA. We investigated the histochemical characteristics of mast cell tryptase in different mouse tissues. By use of peptide substrates, tryptase activity could be demonstrated in unfixed connective tissue mast cells in different tissues, including the stomach. Liver biopsies were taken from ten AIDS patients. Liver architecture was normal in all patients. Eight patients suffering from pigmented contact dermatitis caused by the commerical Brilliant Lake Red R were patch tested with purified Sudan I and its several chemical analogues. OBJECTIVES: Both osteoradionecrosis (ORN) and bisphosphonate associated osteonecrosis of the jaws (BRONJ) present clinically as regions of exposed necrotic bone. The study aimed to demonstrate the histopathological differences behind the observed clinical similarities.

A pattern of genital injury that separates trauma seen in sexual assault cases from trauma seen following consensual sexual intercourse has been a matter of debate.
