The increased use of abdominal cross-sectional imaging has contributed to a greater detection of incidental small renal masses. Treatment options for localized disease renal cell carcinoma include radical nephrectomy or partial nephrectomy (PN), the former being preferred for treatment of early-stage tumors. The most adopted technique for follow-up imaging is contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT), whose findings can cause uncertainty and unnecessary repetition of examinations. Our purpose is to describe CT findings after PN and to describe evolution in time of such images.

Currently in use by interventional cardiology for the intravascular evaluation of coronary arteries, optical coherence tomography (OCT) has proven to be effective in the evaluation of atherosclerotic disease and further therapeutic management. We report a novel use of OCT technology in the case of a 46-year-old man with sudden onset blurred vision and greater than 70% stenosis of his left vertebral artery. To date, no detailed descriptions or case reports have previously been reported regarding the use of neuroendovascular OCT in diseased arteries.

INTRODUCTION: Enteric fever is a common infection in endemic areas; however, there are few reports describing the computed tomography (CT) manifestations of enteric fever. We aim to describe and illustrate CT findings in enteric fever in this study.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective search of medical records in our institute for patients with positive blood cultures for Salmonella typhi, and Salmonella paratyphi organisms yielded 39 cases. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of agenesis of the frontal sinus using computed tomography in a population of Iranian individuals.
