Cancers are a risk factor for active tuberculosis (TB), and anti-cancer drugs can independently cause TB progression. To understand the underlying mechanisms, mice infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) were treated with gemcitabine (Gem), cisplatin, or paclitaxel.
