Extrinsic airway compression secondary to vertebral osteophytes is a rare clinical entity. We report a case of an elderly patient presenting with pneumonia where a subsequent chest CT scan showed right main bronchus compression caused by lower thoracic vertebral osteoarthritis-related osteophytes.
