The microanatomic arrangement of the muscular, nervous, and excretory systems as well as the organization of the tegument are described for the rostellum of Hymenolepis diminuta. An inner circular and an outer longitudinal layer of muscle comprise the rostellar capsule, delimiting the rostellum from the scolex proper. A similar muscular arrangement surrounds an apical invagination of the rostellar tegument, the anterior canal. Thirty three urolithiasis patients (13 males, 18 females aged 29-77 years, 2 children, duration of the disease 1-17 years) received food additive urisan in combined treatment of urolithiasis. Blood and urine biochemistry was studied by 11 parameters to evaluate renal function and lithogenesis before and after intake of urisan. One case had an old, well healed forefoot amputation with severe equinovarus deformity, and the other had an equinus deformity following a burn injury 10 months prior. In the present study, two histologically-distinct cases of granulomatous lymphadenitis induced by dimethylpolysiloxane (silicone polymer) implants were studied. Four and six years after implant, and following surgery for breast cancer, painful homolateral axillary adenopathies were observed and biopsied. The pathomorphological effects of daily and weekly doses of liposomized albendazole on Trichinella spiralis larvae have been examined and compared during the course of muscle infections in mice. The results of external fixation of 66 unstable distal radial fractures were evaluated. In the majority, the radiological results were excellent or good.
