Highly purified DNA obtained from calf thymus nuclei was found to cleave after reaction with a chelating agent and subsequent dialysis against 0.01 M phosphate. Trigramin, a highly specific inhibitor of fibrinogen binding to platelet receptors, was purified to homogeneity from Trimeresurus gramineus snake venom.
