The purpose of this research was to clarify the structural features of submandibular glands in the elderly. Submandibular glands were removed from 28 cadavers (59-96 years) which dental students had used for anatomy practice. These specimens were fixed again with 10% formaldehyde, and then paraffin sections were made from these specimens according to a general method. PURPOSE: A suitable muscle motor in reconstruction after acquired never injury should have adequate strength to perform the desired task, be aligned in the direction of pull, have synergistic action, and not result in unacceptable functional loss. In radial nerve palsy, the pronator teres is the most common motor donor used to restore wrist extension. Although the pronator teres remains aligned to provide pronation, the force deficit of the transfer is not known.

BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to demonstrate anatomical features of the anterior tarsal tunnel and the deep peroneal nerve and to discuss the importance of these structures for the anterior tarsal tunnel syndrome and some other surgical approaches to minimize the injury risk.

CONCLUSION: Using a transantral approach, we examined a new bypass of the maxillary artery (MA) to proximal middle cerebral artery (MCA). As much interest has been focused on afferent innervation of knee than that of patella, there are few articles about patellar innervation. But in clinical practice anterior knee pain due to patellar disorders is a quite frequent problem. An unusual case of peribronchial eosinophilic infiltrates associated with peripheral blood eosinophilia in a lung transplant patient is described. The role that eosinophils play in lung allograft rejection is reviewed. Tissue eosinophils have been associated with acute pulmonary allograft rejection. Although, eosinophils in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BAL) have been observed in allograft rejection, this relationship is less well defined.
