In the present study proteomes of liver samples were analyzed after administration of phenobarbital (PB) or 3-methylcholantrene (3-MC) to mice. Liver cell homogenates were subfractionated by differential ultracentrifugation into cytosol and microsomes, which were subjected to 2-DE to generate the proteomic maps of these fractions. 2-DE yielded 1100 and 800 protein spots for microsomes and cytosol, respectively. Radiolabeled tetrachloroethene (PCE) and carbon tetrachloride (CT) were added to batch systems containing a lactate-enrichment culture displaying apparent dehalorespiration abilities to analyze the influence of mixtures on product distribution. Possibility of inhibition of an efficient in vitro IgE-sensitization system was studied. The sentization of mouse peritoneal mast cells with an anti-ovalbumin IgE-rich fraction of serum, as tested by ovalbumin-induced degranulation, was inhibited by previous incubation with antisera of another or of no specificity. CD24 is a surface marker expressed in immature and mature B cells and involved in cellular adhesion and apoptosis. Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is a highly prevalent epidermal neoplasm that most commonly occurs in regions of sun-exposed skin, though rare cases arise in sun-protected areas. BCCs of the vulva account for a small fraction of cases and can be mistaken for other cutaneous genital pathologies on clinical examination. Here we report a case of vulvar BCC that presented as a firm, tender bilateral lesion of the mons pubis and was diagnosed by histopathology and immunostaining for classical BCC markers.
