A cases of unilateral hyperlucent lung syndrome (Swyer-James', MacLeod's syndrome) in a 45-years old male patients is presented. The patient was being treated since 1982 because of recurrent upper and lower respiratory tract's infections. An increasing dyspnea was the main patient's manifestation. The genital tract is a complex anatomic region with overlapping endocrinologic, anatomic, and functional features. Nuclear medicine has value in examining functional aspects of reproductive and sexual function, ranging from testicular or cavernosal perfusion in the male, to fallopian tube transport in the female. Blood pool imaging has been helpful in detecting subclinical varicoceles. Proper understanding of the role that these tests play is important for their success and credibility.

PURPOSE: This feasibility study was undertaken to compare the sensitivity of Tc-99m dextran with that of Tc-99m human immunoglobulin G to diagnose ulcerative colitis, and to explore its possible role in disease follow-up.

Bronchial carcinoid (BC) is a rare etiology of Cushing syndrome, and difficulties in differential diagnosis with Cushing's disease are often present. We report two cases in which octreotide scintigraphy was an important diagnostic tool. The first patient showed a 1 cm non-specific pulmonary nodule on CT scan that was positive on scintigraphy, being confirmed by surgery. Seventy-two cases of Meckel's diverticulum were treated surgically in recent four years. There were 61 boys and 11 girls with a mean age of 5.2 years. Of the 65 symptomatic patients, 31(43%) had rectal bleeding, 16(23%) suffered from bowel obstruction and 17(24%) peritonitis. Patients with diverticulitis(8 cases) had acute abdominal pain in the periumbilical region or in the right lower quadrant compatible with appendicitis. Ectopic mucosa was found in 47 cases(65.3%).
