Using monoclonal antibody assay technique 29 kD domain of estrogen receptor was found and partially quantitated by means of histological score in fibroblasts from vesico-vaginal fascia obtained during surgical procedure in incontinent women. Data from 655 women in a clinical trial comparing the Burch and fascial sling were examined.
