This work reports the synthesis of InGaOX solid solution catalysts with varying Ga contents via a one-step hydrothermal method, aiming to enhance the catalytic activity of indium-based catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol. Comprehensive characterization using XRD, SEM, TEM, H2-TPR, CO2/H2-TPD, and XPS revealed that adjusting the Ga content modulates the crystal structure and surface morphology of the catalysts. A nonenzymatic electrochemical nanoprobe is described for the fast determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). A sputtered indium tin oxide electrode with a nano-hierarchical 3D gold structure is used. The nanoprobe was characterized by SEM, EDX, TEM, SAED, and electrochemical techniques. A 29-year-old woman presenting with an ectopic adrenocorticotropic hormone syndrome and a nodule of the upper lobe of the left lung was explored by indium 111 (111In) octreotide scintigraphy. This showed a pathologic uptake by the nodule. Treatment with octreotide resulted in the rapid control of hypercortisolism prior to surgery.

We report an optically transparent ultrasonic device, consisting of indium-tin-oxide-coated lithium niobate (LNO), for use in particle manipulation. This device shows good transparency in the visible and near-infrared wavelengths and, acoustically, compares favorably with conventional prototype devices with silver electrodes.

A self-assembled monolayer of a tetrathiafulvalene derivative on indium tin oxide is shown to operate as a ternary redox switch in which the magnetic and optical outputs are employed to provide a readout of the state. Large-scale Ag nanosheet-assembled micro-hemispheres, with sufficient hot spots on their surfaces, have been achieved on an indium tin oxide substrate via electrodeposition. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) measurements demonstrate that the Ag nanosheet-assembled micro-hemispheres can serve as sensitive and reproducible SERS substrates.

The present study examines the effects of heavy metals on chick embryogenesis. The metals included were cadmium, arsenic, cobalt, copper, indium, iron, manganese, and molybdenum. Salts of each of the metals were dissolved in saline and injected into the air sacs on d 2 of incubation. Dose levels varied with the metal to be tested. Ligand libraries can be printed onto a sandwich composed of activated lipids embedded in a hydrophobic layer conjugated to an indium-tin oxide (ITO) surface. Arrays produced this way can be analyzed by fluorescence spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Applications include the assignment of enzyme specificity, the profiling of glycoforms and the identification of lectins.
