Granular cell tumor (GCT) is uncommon in the colon and rectum. Here we report a case of GCT in the transverse colon. A 48-year-old male patient underwent a screening colonoscopy. Isolated involvement of the liver in histoplasmosis is rare. We report a case of an immunocompetent patient in their mid-40s who presented with prolonged fever and elevated liver enzymes. Liver biopsy revealed granulomas, and histoplasmosis was confirmed by Periodic Acid-Schiff staining and positive urinary Histoplasma antigen test. No other organ involvement was found. Treatment with Amphotericin B and Itraconazole resulted in complete recovery, and Urinary Histoplasma antigen was negative 6 weeks after treatment initiation. Hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma (HCCC) of the salivary gland is new disease only recognized in recent years. It is rare and the standard tr … e, cords, nests, or solid sheets with a hyalinizing stroma. These clear cells were positive for the periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) reaction but were negative for the mucin stain. Immunohistochemically, these neoplastic cells were positive for cytokeratin, but negative for actin. No recurrence nor distant metastasis was found during the eight-month follow-up period.

We present a case of alveolar soft part sarcoma of the vagina in an 18-year-old woman. The presenting symptoms were menometrorrhagia and a painless vaginal mass. We report a solitary nodular form of primary cutaneous amyloidosis due to locally infiltrating plasma cells. An 81-year-old Japanese women presented with a scarlet, dome-shaped 1.5-cm nodule with an irregular surface.
