Urethral duplication is a rare congenital anomaly. A rare variety of accessory urethra communicating with the right seminal vesicle is reported, this is a case report of a 46-year-old male who manifested as semen discharge from the ectopic opening of the urethra, and abnormal discharge of secretions in the near future. After conservative treatment with antibiotics, the symptoms disappeared. The classification, diagnosis, and treatment for this anomaly are discussed.

OBJECTIVE: To present an original technique of robotic-assisted urethra-sparing simple prostatectomy (RAUSP) for treating patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related sclerosing disease is a systemic disease characterized by extensive IgG4-positive plasma cells and T-lymphocyte infiltration in various organs. We described the imaging findings of an IgG4-related inflammatory pseudotumor in the urethra. The urethral mass showed isoattenuation on unenhanced CT images, delayed enhancement on enhanced CT images, iso- to slight hyper-intensity on T1 and T2 weighted magnetic resonance images, diffusion restriction on diffusion weighted images, and heterogeneously low echogeneity on ultrasonography.

Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the female urethra is a rare malignant tumor arising from urethral diverticulum or paraurethral ducts and glands, and extends to the submucosa surrounding the urethra. In the advanced stage, the tumor may involve adjacent organs such as the vagina, and may mimic gynecologic malignancy. We report 2 cases in which magnetic resonance imaging could reveal their urethral origin by detecting the normal urethra within the mass as targetlike appearance on axial T2-weighted image.

Prenatal sonographic features of the rare anomaly of complete duplication of the urinary bladder and urethra are described in this case report. A coronal scan of the fetal pelvis at 29 weeks of gestation revealed two pyriform cystic structures. The umbilical arteries coursed around both of them. They emptied independently of each other. Postnatally the newborn had two vulvae, two anal openings, two bladders and two uteri.
