The optimization of DOTA-NHS-ester conjugation to Rituximab using different Ab:DOTA molar ratios (1:10, 1:20, 1:50 and 1:100) was studied. High-density lipoprotein (HDL) nanoparticles doped with gadolinium lipids can be used as magnetic resonance imaging diagnostic agents for atherosclerosis. In this study, HDL nanoparticles with different molar fractions of gadolinium lipids (0 < xGd-lipids < 0.33) were prepared, and the MR relaxivity values (r1 and r2) for all compositions were measured. The epidemiology of trophoblastic disease in Nepal remains unknown. In this study, the first data regarding patients with trophoblastic disease were collected from two hospitals in Kathmandu, Nepal. Dental abnormalities and bone lesions of the maxilla and mandible are found in more than 70% of patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). Dental abnormalities include impacted teeth (other than third molars), supernumerary teeth, congenitally missing teeth, and fused roots of molars. Probabilities of caries risk over time measured from eruption of first and second molars are illustrated using life table methodology. Life table rates based on 4,365 children in the National Preventive Dentistry Demonstration Program indicate that both fluoridation and sealants are effective in preventing caries on occlusal and buccal/lingual surfaces of molars.
