METHOD: Combined transfection of the siRNA target for Hif-lα and Survivin gene to human NPC CNE-2 cell, these plasmids were respectively transfected into the same cells. We report an uncommon case and histopathologic work-up of Hodgkin lymphoma of the nasopharynx in a 49-year old female patient who presented with a 2-year complaint of bilateral nasal congestion. Histologic study revealed a lymphocyte rich subtype of classic Hodgkin lymphoma. "Malignant centrofacial granulomatosis" is an unusual but devastating spectrum of lymphoproliferative disorders that is now thought to include several entitites, such as polymorphic reticulosis or peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Characteristically there are destructive centrofacial lesions which often produce difficulties for the diagnostic to the clinician and pathologist. The case of a 71-year-old man diagnosed in our Department as polymorphic reticulosis sitting on the rhinopharynx is reported.

Lipoma of nasopharynx is a rare tumour. A lipoma situated at the junction of roof and posterior wall of nasopharynx is reported. Only four cases of lipoma of nasopharynx in adults have been previously reported. Use of cytology in making a pre-operative diagnosis of lipoma at this location is discussed.
