Following the tumor resection, the frontal sinus bone lamella was reset and fixed with a titanium bone fixation set. The postoperative pathological diagnosis was of ossifying fibroma. At the postoperative 5-year follow-up there was no tumor recurrence and nasal endoscopy revealed an unobstructed nasofrontal duct opening.

A 76-year-old woman with compression fracture of L1 underwent percutaneous balloon kyphoplasty using polymethyl methacrylate. Three years after kyphoplasty of L1, the patient was readmitted with severe low back pain. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed progressive collapse of L1 vertebra and new compression fracture at T12. This report discusses the treatment of a seven-year-old girl with a displaced fracture of the proximal femur (AO 32-M / 3.1 II, Delbet type III) after falling 4 m from a tree. She was treated by immediate (within 6 h after trauma) open reduction and capsular decompression.
