OBJECTIVE: Percutaneous renal denervation (pRDN) is a new and promising therapy for resistant hypertension. Among patients suspected of having resistant hypertension, the actual presence of this condition needs to be well established; pseudoresistant hypertension and significant white-coat effect (WCE) should be excluded.
