This work is aimed at evaluating the effect of repeated intracavernosal injection (ICI) self-injection on the peak systolic velocity (PSV) and the diameter of cavernosal arteries. Sixty erectile dysfunction (ED) patients who were positive responders for ICI therapy were studied. BACKGROUND: Glucagon is often used to inhibit duodenal motility and enhance cannulation during ERCP. Levsin is an antimuscarinic, anticholinergic agent that may be as effective as glucagon.
METHODS: Three hundred eight patients requiring an antimotility agent during ERCP were randomized in a double-blind prospective study to intravenous Levsin or glucagon. Recent studies have indicated two major mechanisms for the release of arachidonic acid (20:4) from membrane phospholipids: 1) activation of … ss obvious increase in 20:4. In order to confirm the mechanism of nasal secretion mediated via a nerve reflex in guinea pigs, the secretory response from the contralateral side was studied which was induced by local application of various stimulators. We investigated 55 children, aged from 24 months to 14 years with neurogenic bladder dysfunction secondary to myelomeningocele, by serial urodynamic. They were serially evaluation over 2-5 years.
