OBJECTIVES: To explore the forensic pathological characteristics of corpses in wells, and to summarize the differences in corpses between homicide and suicide, so as to provide references for forensic analysis of such cases.
METHODS: Data of 52 corpses found in wells （51 cases） in Xuchang, Henan Province from 2004 to 2016 were retrospectively collected, and descriptive statistics were performed on the dead individuals, time of death, wells, autopsies, and diatom testings.

The objective of the present work was to study topographical and anatomical relationships between the lacrimal passages and the walls of the nasal cavity from the standpoint of the rhinosurgeon.
