PURPOSE: To recognize the imaging patterns of thoracic injuries in survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV).
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective radiological review of 688 patients self-reporting IPV to our institution's violence intervention and prevention program between January 2013 and June 2018 identified 30 patients with 89 thoracic injuries. Imaging and demographic data were collected.
RESULTS: Thirty survivors with 89 injuries to the thorax were identified with a median age of 43.5 years (21-65 years). IPV was reported or disclosed as the direct cause of injury in 50% (15/30)

We experienced 102 cases of facial bone fracture during 16 months of 1986 to 1987. These cases were analyzed statistically concerning causes, age and locations of the fracture. These fractures have increased rapidly in number. The causes were classified into three types; occurrence during sport, traffic accident and fighting, which were equal in number. PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: To analyse retrospectively complications of the surgical treatment of displaced acetabular fractures.
MATERIAL: In the years 1996 to 2006 a total of 251 patients with acetabular fractures were treated. The group comprised 162 men and 89 women; the average age was 35 years.
