We performed a retrospective audit of a consecutive series of twenty-three patients to evaluate the results of central slip tenotomy performed for chronic mallet finger. BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility and safety of performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) in a day surgery setting in Italy.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: Between March 2003 and June 2011, in our institution 439 patients were selected for day surgery LC. INTRODUCTION: Colorectal chemoprevention is a strategy aimed at preventing tumour progression before irreversible changes to the proteome are in full progress. Chemoprevention is not a new concept.
