'Congenital phimosis' was one of a number of pseudo-pathologies that entered mainstream medicine in the nineteenth century. In the twentieth century Truby King, Henry Jellett, and Eric Corkill advocated premature foreskin retraction as the first intervention to manage 'congenital phimosis'. If that failed they recommended circumcision, although eventually it became more expedient to use circumcision exclusively. We conduct a longitudinal descriptive study in the department of infectious diseases to CHU of Point G during 18 months. It concerned adult patients referred from another care center. All the patients underwent systematic clinical examination and complementary exploration. UNLABELLED: Malignant tumour is the second cause of death in Poland, behind cardiovascular disease. 26% of men and 23% of women die of it. Head and neck tumours are the fifth most frequent group of malignant tumours. These are mostly squamous cell carcinomas. The carcinogenic factors of tobacco smoke play an indisputable role in the pathogenesis of these tumours.

OBJECTIVE: Traumatic life events are important risk factors for eating disorders (ED). War has been associated, in military populations, with an increased post-service incidence of ED and an increased mean body mass index. We hypothesize that a modification of eating behavior (EB) related to stress during wartime may increase the risk of developing an ED later on among civilians exposed to war stress during adulthood.

BACKGROUND: Women have been traditionally more involved in birth control than men. The purpose of this survey is to analyze knowledge of and attitudes towards oral contraceptives (OC) use in a population of male medical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Belgrade, Serbia.
METHODS: In November/December 2011, a total of 237 male medical students were recruited at the Faculty of Medicine before the start of compulsory practical sessions in their classrooms. Data were obtained through a 26-item questionnaire regarding knowledge of and attitude towards OC use.

PURPOSE: To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of maxillofacial fractures treated at a university hospital, Xinjiang, China over a 5-year period.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: Between 2006 and 2010, a total of 1350 patients with maxillofacial fractures were reviewed retrospectively. The data collected included demographics, aetiology, site of fracture, time regarding injuries, presence of associated injuries, treatment modalities, and complications.
