Dehiscence of the cochlear otic capsule has recently been described as a pathologic entity. We describe two cases of cochlear-facial dehiscence, which are the first reported: a 69-year-old male who complained of hearing loss, autophony, and pulsatile tinnitus and a 41-year-old female who complained of left-sided hearing loss, pulsatile tinnitus, and vertigo. OBJECTIVE: To report an unusual case of intravitreal inflammation in a human eye caused by the presence of residual perfluorodecalin in a case of giant retinal tear and retinal detachment.
METHODS: The posterior capsule of the lens, which was infiltrated with deposits, was collected during surgery. The specimen was stained with hematoxylin and eosin, with periodic acid-Schiff, and for melanin. Part of it was examined with electron microscopy. Immunohistochemical staining was performed to demonstrate CD68 antigens, cytokeratin, and glial fibrillary acid protein.

A retrospective study of ocular cat claw injuries in the dog revealed an over-representation of very young dogs in our case material. Puppies up to the age of 12 weeks have no menace response. PURPOSE: Present an updated technique for surgical implantation of revakinagene taroretcel.
METHODS: The surgical technique is described with supplemental video included.
RESULTS: Surgical implantation of revakinagene taroretcel was safely performed without adverse events. The capsule was positioned into the vitreous cavity, the associated fixation loop was appropriately secured to the sclera using a double-armed 9-0 polypropylene suture, the sclerotomy was closed with 9-0 nylon sutures, and the conjunctiva was closed to ensure proper coverage of the sutures and insertion site.
