We present a case of enterovesical fistula caused by an accidental ingestion of a foreign body. A 23-year-old man presented to our hospital with pneumaturia, fecaluria, and abdominal pain but no recent possible causes of enterovesical fistula at anamnesis. Cystoscopy, cystography, and also colonoscopy were not able to detect the fistulous tract. Computer tomography (CT) revealed a fistula between bladder and bowels caused by a toothpick accidentally swallowed 2 years earlier. Sarcomatoid carcinoma of the small intestine is rare, and only 30 cases have been reported to date. This disease generally exhibits a very poor prognosis. UNLABELLED: The expandable metallic stent (EMS) have been used to treat obstructive colorectal cancer. We used EMS in 13 out of 14 cases of obstructive colorectal carcinoma patients (insertion rate 93%). Of these 13 cases, 6 cases were male patients, and 7 cases were female patients. There is a wide range of congenital vaginal abnormalities that can be reconstructed using bowel. From 1964 to 1993 we used bowel for vaginal reconstruction in 65 patients and all but 5 were treated since 1981. Patient age ranged from 9 months to 26 years. Flow cytometric DNA histograms of colorectal carcinomas from 264 patients were evaluated for the association of tumor site, Dukes' stage, tumor grade, and preoperative carcinoembryonic level with patient survival. The DNA nondiploid carcinomas were significantly more common from the left (descending and sigmoid) colon and the rectum. A poorer prognosis was found for patients with DNA nondiploid cancers than for patients with DNA diploid cancers. This was particularly true for patients with Dukes' stages B2 and C tumors with a small number (one to three) of lymph nodes with metastatic deposits.

Thirty six patients with Hirschsprung's disease were treated with a Duhamel pull-through procedure.
